The Appleton Estate Rum Tour offers an exclusive insight into a part of Jamaica's rich culture and history. The estate is home to the legendary Appleton Distillery that has been making Jamaica’s signature rum since 1749. Located on the scenic south coast in Nassau Valley, St. Elizabeth, a knowledgeable guide will showcase the historic production process of Appleton Estates' Rums. You will experience some of the earliest methods of extracting juice from sugarcane, learn about the distillation process in 200-year-old pot stills and visit a barrel house where the rums are aged to excellence. And of course – get a chance to sample some of the finest rums in the world!
